Eva-Dina Delgado

Representative Eva-Dina Delgado is serving in her second term in the Illinois House of Representatives. She is the Vice Chair of the Public Utilities Committee, and on the following Committees: Appropriations-Public Safety, Consumer Protection, Elementary/Secondary Education-Administration, Licensing, and Charter Schools, Transportation-Vehicle Safety.

 

Prior to serving in the Illinois State House of Representatives. Rep. Delgado worked for the City of Chicago and the CTA, serving as the first Latina Vice President of Government and Community Relations. She was also Vice President and Director of Community Relations, and worked closely with many communities and advocated for their needs locally, at the state, and federal level.

 

Eva-Dina has been deeply involved in her community. Her work includes Lawyers Lend-a-Hand to Youth (an organization that supports one-on-one mentorship for youth) and sitting on the Saint Anthony Hospital board, a hospital that serves majority Latino and African American communities. She currently resides on the Northwest Side of Chicago with her husband and daughter.
