Representative Eva-Dina Delgado, in her second term in the Illinois House of Representatives, chairs the Immigration & Human Rights Committee and serves as Vice-Chair of the Public Utilities Committee. Her other committee assignments include Child Care Access & Early Childhood, Commercial & Property, Financial Institutions & Licensing, Gaming, Judiciary - Civil, and Transportation: Vehicles & Safety.

 

Before her time in the state legislature, she worked for the City of Chicago and the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) as the first Latina Vice President of Government and Community Relations, advocating for local, state, and federal community needs. She has also been involved with community organizations like Lawyers Lend-a-Hand to Youth and serves on the board of Saint Anthony Hospital. She lives in the 3rd District in Chicago with her family.
